Deputy President Kithure Kindiki departed for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on Wednesday, August 5th, to represent Kenya at the Infra for Africa Forum 2026, a summit focused on accelerating continental infrastructure investment.

• The two-day forum, themed “A Decade of Impact: From Ambition to Delivery,” aims to mobilize long-term capital and strengthen public-private partnerships for transformative infrastructure projects.
• Key attendees include Heads of State, senior government officials, investors, development finance institutions, policymakers, and private sector leaders.
• Kenya seeks to attract financing for strategic projects in transport, energy, housing, water, digital infrastructure, and logistics under its Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
