The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has launched an electronic certificate platform allowing 2025 KCSE candidates to download digital copies of their certificates.

The service is also available for certificates dating back to 1989.
KNEC CEO David Njegere announced the rollout.
The e-certificates cost Ksh1,500 and are valid, verifiable, and secured using blockchain technology.
