Two advocates, Ms Angella Mulwa and Mr Nelson Masiga Makaralu, have been detained for 14 days in connection with the murder of mental health researcher Dr Victoria Nthunya Mutiso.

• The detention relates to the probe into the invasion and demolition of Dr Mutiso's Sh1.5 billion property and the theft of vehicles.
• The detained advocates are siblings, and their mother, Rose Mbithe Mulwa, is also being detained alongside her son Chris Mulwa.
• The court cited the great public interest and anxiety surrounding Dr Mutiso's killing and the alleged land fraud.
