• Over 1,600 commercial fish farmers are now actively engaged, with many diversifying into ornamental fish and hatchery businesses.
• The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), World Bank, and the Aquaculture Business Development Programme (ABDP) are impressed by the county's success, with innovations being replicated nationwide.
• Production has seen a remarkable increase, with farmers now harvesting between 200-300 kilograms per year, up from less than 10 kilograms annually.
