• The court ordered a stop to all excavation, tree felling, land clearance, and construction works in the forest.
• The petition was filed by the Law Society of Kenya (LSK), the Green Belt Movement, and JustAct against several government agencies and a private developer.
• The case challenges alleged unlawful encroachment and development projects, including those linked to the Talanta Sports City.
