Assets belonging to former Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria are slated for auction on August 25 due to an alleged undisclosed loan default.

• A hospital in Murang'a and a residential property in Karen, Nairobi, are listed for sale.
• The auction is being conducted by Dalali Traders Auctioneers on behalf of a creditor.
• This comes as Wa Iria also faces a Sh542.6 million graft charge from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
