Kakamega High School and St. Mary’s School Yala will face off in the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) National Term Two Games football final in Thika. The highly anticipated match, dubbed the "school Mashemeji Derby," pits two of Kenya’s most successful football giants against each other.

• Kakamega High, also known as the Green Commandos, are twelve-time national champions.
• They reached the final after a 2-1 extra-time victory over Menengai High School.
• St. Mary’s School Yala, Nyanza Region champions, defeated Takaba Secondary School 2-0 in their semi-final.
