Kenyan runners Collins Tentera and Nahashon Pkiach have advanced to the 800m semifinals at the World Athletics U-20 Championships in Eugene, Oregon, USA.

• Collins Tentera won his heat in 1:59.19, while Nahashon Pkiach qualified in third place with a time of 1:51.35.
• Both athletes expressed determination to secure podium finishes in the semifinals.
• Tentera is a student at St. Francis Kimuron Boys, and Pkiach attends Sang’alo School.
