The couple was discovered dead around 1:00 PM after spending the night at the lodging.
Preliminary findings suggest the woman had signs of asphyxia and head trauma, while the man showed signs of poisonous ingestion.
Witnesses reported the woman expressing fear and asking to rent a room, saying, "Today I don’t feel like going to your house. I am afraid. Take a room in this town where I can scream and get help if you decide to kill me."
