Three suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting and murder of Mount Elgon MP aspirant Nathan Masai Wasama, 61, who was killed at his home in Tuikut, Cheptais, on Thursday, August 6.

• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) made the arrests after days of intelligence-led investigations.
• Investigators believe four men on a motorcycle carried out the attack.
• Several items, including a smoke jacket, stun grenade, and multiple weapons, were recovered during the raid.
