The National Council for Persons With Disabilities (NCPWD) has launched a nationwide verification exercise to ensure eligible persons with disabilities (PWDs) receive tax exemption certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).

• The exercise is underway for the next two weeks across designated regions.
• Key individuals include NCPWD CEO Dr. Michael Munene and Kisii NCPWD officer Gabriella Ogom.
• The vetting process is part of the operationalization of the Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025, and has been digitized through the e-Citizen platform.
