The exercise is being conducted by a multi-agency team led by the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD).
Dr. Michael Munene, CEO of NCPWD, stated the month-long activity has commenced in Kisii, a strategic region serving over seven neighbouring counties.
Eligibility criteria include PWD registration, proof of income, and tax compliance, with a digitized application process via the e-Citizen platform, followed by a physical assessment.
