Four people died in a tragic road accident on Thursday at Mitheru, Tharaka Nithi county, when their vehicle veered off the road.

• Four people died, while three survived with injuries.
• The vehicle was en route to Kipkona in Igembe Central, Meru, for a burial.
• The driver reportedly lost control while trying to avoid a head-on collision.
