Eight Kenyan counties are forecast to receive rainfall in the upcoming week, while the majority of the country is expected to experience dry conditions, according to the Kenya Meteorological Department.

• The counties anticipating rain include Bungoma, Trans Nzoia, Nakuru, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo-Marakwet, Kericho, Nyandarua, and Nyeri.
• The Kenya Meteorological Department also issued a warning of intermittent cool and cloudy conditions in 16 other counties.
• Temperatures are projected to remain high in many regions, with some areas experiencing nighttime lows below 10°C.
