The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), a leading professional body, has officially opened its Kenya office in Nairobi to bolster the procurement profession across East Africa.

• The new office aims to provide access to CIPS qualifications, membership, corporate programmes, and professional development.
• CIPS Global Chief Executive Ben Farrell, MBE led the launch, emphasizing a commitment to the professionalization of procurement on the continent.
• The opening was followed by strategic engagements, including an MoU signing with the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management (KISM) and discussions with the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA).
