The Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) has adopted a new constitution to bolster governance and accountability, replacing the 2014 document. The ratification occurred during the association’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Nairobi.

Key changes include clearer role separation between the National Executive Committee and secretariat, term limits for office bearers, and stricter election and financial management guidelines.
The Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK), led by Chairperson James Waindi and with the constitution review committee chaired by Treasurer Mukami Wambora.
The new constitution aims to ensure institutional continuity, protect members' rights, and provide credible electoral and financial processes.
