The National Police Service (NPS) has issued a strong warning to political actors and rally organizers against inciting violence and undermining public order, while directing officers to maintain law and order with professionalism.

• The warning follows the arrest of 15 suspects found with crude weapons, allegedly hired to disrupt political activities in Kisumu-Kericho Road.
• NPS spokesperson Muchiri Nyága stated that offenders will face the full force of the law and that officers must balance peaceful assembly rights with preventing violence.
• The directive comes amid heightened tensions in Homa Bay, where roads were barricaded ahead of a political rally.
