In Turkana County, only about 20 per cent of school-going children have reportedly returned to school.
Key stakeholders include the Lizah Foundation International, represented by Director-General Elizabeth Mutuku, and local leaders like Turkana North MP Sharif Ekuwam Nabuin.
Concerns highlight the need for support beyond school fees, including food, uniforms, learning materials, and financial assistance like bursaries, with MP Nabuin allocating Sh60 million in bursaries.
