Kenya's National Police Service (NPS) has issued a stern warning to politicians and organizers against incitement and violence as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 General Election.

• 15 suspects were arrested on August 15 near Kisumu-Kericho Road, allegedly hired to disrupt political activities and found with crude weapons.
• The NPS, through its spokesperson Muchiri Nyaga, vowed to take action against individuals promoting disorder and unlawful activities during political events.
• The warning comes amidst increased rallies and mobilization efforts, emphasizing that political competition must not lead to violence or the use of criminal elements.
