Nairobi, Kenya - Police have arrested 37 suspects in connection with the violence that marred Sunday's Linda Mwananchi rally in Homa Bay, which resulted in the death of a police officer and injuries to several others.

• 37 suspects arrested, with one key individual, Oliver Jaoko, alias “Olivetti”, still at large.
• The National Police Service (NPS) reported the discovery of crude weapons among the arrested individuals.
• Violence at the rally led to the death of one police officer and injuries to eight others, alongside damaged police and civilian vehicles.
