Airtel Kenya has significantly reduced the data allocation across all its Smarta bundles without altering the prices, effective 18 August 2026.

• The KES 1,500 monthly Smarta bundle saw a drastic reduction from 90GB to 32GB, a cut of 64%.
• Airtel Kenya is the primary organization involved in this data reduction.
• This change follows a previous upgrade in February 2025, and existing bundles are unaffected until expiry, with auto-renewals now receiving the reduced allocations.
