Seven people were killed in a helicopter crash at Mt Ololokwe in Samburu County. The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the aircraft was a Eurocopter EC130 B4, registration 5Y-GYM.

• The victims have been identified as pilot Josh Outram and passengers Roger Duarte, Adam Navaty, Stephen Vasconquez, Henry Parra, Michael Contugi, and Suian Suarez.
• Josh Outram, a fourth-generation Kenyan, founded an African helicopter company and provided aerial support to conservation efforts.
• The helicopter was en route from Soyian in Laikipia to Loisaba Conservancy when it crashed.
