A woman has been arrested for allegedly fraudulently acquiring land belonging to a deceased estate in Ruiru. The Land Fraud Investigations Unit (LFIU) made the arrest based on a complaint from the administrators of the late father’s estate.

• The land, measuring approximately 0.0825 hectares in Juja Farm, was allegedly transferred and sold for Sh800,000.
• The suspect, Agnes Wairimu Gachanja, is accused of conspiracy to defraud, uttering false documents, and intermeddling with the property of a deceased person.
• She is scheduled to appear before the Ruiru Law Courts on August 20, 2026.
