Huawei has unveiled the Pura X View, a non-folding smartphone featuring a 16:9.5 wide screen. The device was announced on August 20, 2026, at the company's HarmonyOS Smart Mobility event in China.

• The Pura X View boasts a 6.39-inch OLED display with a 96.1% screen-to-body ratio and a peak brightness of 6,500 nits.
• Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei’s consumer business, presented the phone, highlighting its wider display area compared to many larger phones.
• The 6.68mm thin device houses a 7,000mAh battery and is the first to ship with HarmonyOS 7.0.
