The Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) has issued a clarification regarding new flight procedures at Wilson Airport. These procedures are designed to enhance safety following the reopening of Runway 07/25.

• The new procedures were detailed in Aeronautical Information Supplement 31/2026, issued on July 28.
• The KCAA stated these changes were not a direct response to two aircraft incidents earlier this year, including a Safarilink incident on March 20 and a United Nations Humanitarian Air Service crash on May 22.
• The minimum flying heights outlined in the supplement comply with criteria set by the International Civil Aviation Organization.
