  • The Fund's Acting Chief Executive Officer, Dr Edwin Wanyonyi, stated the certification assures stakeholders of transparent and reliable systems for managing university financing.
  • A significant increase in students qualifying for university is noted, with 270,715 candidates attaining the minimum university entry grade in the 2025 KCSE, up from 246,391 in 2024.
  • The Fund projects approximately 608,879 scholarship beneficiaries for the 2026/2027 financial year, with the Government disbursing a cumulative of about KSh78 billion in scholarships between 2023/2024 and 2026/2027.
