The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has released guidelines and timelines for the 2026 School-Based Assessment (SBA) for Grade 10 learners, along with other grades.

• KNEC will make Grade 10 assessment materials available on the CBA portal from October 5, with results upload due by October 23.
• School principals will oversee downloading, while subject teachers will administer and mark the assessments.
• The assessments cover a wide range of subjects across STEM, Social Sciences, and Arts and Sports categories, and also include arrangements for Grades 3, 4, 5, 7, and 8, as well as the Stage-Based Curriculum.
