A 22-year-old farm worker, Stephen Ndungu, died in Tawai village, Trans Nzoia County, after a dispute over a mobile phone escalated into a physical altercation on Monday.

• A disagreement between Ndungu and Samuel Kemboi, 21, led to a fatal fight.
• The deceased, Ndungu, was reportedly struck multiple times by Kemboi.
• Kemboi has been arrested and is being held by the police as investigations continue.
