A police constable, Elijah Kibelion Kimoi, and three family members of a lawyer have been charged in connection with the murder of psychiatrist Dr Victoria Thunya Mutiso.

The suspects are Elijah Kibelion Kimoi, lawyer Angela Mulwa, her brother Chris Mulwa, and their mother Rose Mbithe Mulwa.
The murder allegedly occurred on July 29, 2026, at approximately 9:30am along Mawensi Road in Kilimani, Nairobi County.
The four appeared before Justice Kanyi Kimondo at the Milimani Law Courts and will undergo mental assessments before entering pleas.
