The Kenya Copyright Board (KECOBO) has dissolved the Board of Directors of the Kenya Association of Music Producers (KAMP) and ordered the suspension of its Chief Executive Officer, Maurice Okoth.

• KECOBO directed KAMP directors to vacate office immediately and hold new elections within 30 days.
• This action follows a 90-day suspension of KAMP's operating licence due to alleged financial and governance breaches, including the diversion of Sh5.5 million in royalty funds.
• The Copyright Tribunal upheld KECOBO's decision, tasking KECOBO to conclude its action within seven days.
