The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has refuted claims of political interference, graft, and voter suppression concerning the 2027 General Election preparations. The commission stated these allegations are false and aim to erode public trust.

• IEBC Chairperson Erastus Edung Ethekon specifically dismissed allegations of politicians buying a house for him, noting the changing value from Sh80 million to Sh200 million.
• The commission challenged Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) leader Rigathi Gachagua to provide evidence to the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission.
• IEBC also defended its staff deployment, procurement processes for election technology and ballot papers, and the security of the voter register, stating all procedures adhere to the Constitution and relevant laws.
