• The legal battle was initiated by her husband, Kevin Migwe Kimwatu, who claims he was excluded from funeral decisions.
• Chemutai, 40, passed away on August 21, and her family had planned to bury her on August 29 in Kericho County.
• Kimwatu, who states their marriage had challenges but remained loving, wishes to bury his wife at his ancestral home in Matasia, Ngong.
