The Long Distance Drivers and Conductors Association of Kenya (LoDDCA) has issued a travel advisory for truckers in South Sudan following the reported abduction and assault of a Kenyan driver on Friday, August 28.

• A Kenyan driver was reportedly abducted and assaulted, sustaining visible knife wounds and bruises.
• LoDDCA is urging drivers to suspend movement and halt loading operations.
• This incident follows the recent killing of another Kenyan driver, Ahmed Salat, who was shot dead while en route to Wau.
