Nakuru police are investigating a suspected arson attempt at Moi Primary School after a container of suspected paraffin was found near the girls' dormitory.

• A five-litre jerrycan filled with suspected paraffin was discovered underneath the dormitory stairs.
• The headteacher reported the incident to the police on Saturday, August 29.
• Investigators are examining how the container was placed and whether any pupils had knowledge of it, with no arrests made so far.
