A legal battle over the burial of Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) Head of Data Protection, Rosemary Chemutai Kimwatu, has concluded after her husband withdrew the case, stating he has "left the matter to God" following her burial.

• The burial of Rosemary Chemutai took place on Friday night in Kericho County, despite court orders preventing the burial without her husband's involvement.
• The case was withdrawn by her husband, Kevin Migwe Kimwatu, before Milimani Commercial Magistrate Agnes Mwangi.
• Kimwatu initially sought to participate in funeral arrangements and have his wife buried at their ancestral home in Matasia, Ngong, Kajiado County.
