The Transport Licensing Appeals Board (TLAB) has suspended Nicco Movers’ PSV operator licence for seven days due to safety and compliance failures, overturning an earlier revocation by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA).

• Out of 51 inspected vehicles, 45 failed to meet required standards.
• The suspension follows two fatal incidents involving Nicco Movers vehicles along Thika Superhighway.
• Defects included faulty seat belts, doors, lights, and missing safety equipment, with many vehicles recorded exceeding speed limits.
