Kenya Airways has appointed Habil Waswani as its acting Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective September 15, following the resignation of Captain George Kamal.

• Captain George Kamal will remain with the airline for a 30-day transition period, leaving on September 30.
• Habil Waswani, currently the Company Secretary and Director of Legal Services and Regulatory Compliance, brings over 24 years of legal experience to the interim role.
