The Kenyan government has disbursed Ksh850.7 million to nearly half a million households under the Cash Transfer for Orphans and Vulnerable Children (CT-OVC) Programme.

• A total of Ksh850,696,000 was disbursed to 425,348 households.
• The funds were disbursed by Gender, Culture and Children Services Cabinet Secretary Hanna Wendot Cheptumo.
• This disbursement covers the July 2026 payment, with each household receiving Ksh2,000, and payments commenced on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
