The Langalanga community is in shock following the discovery of the strangled body of missing receptionist Jackline Wangui Njoroge, 10 days after she disappeared on August 14.

• Wangui's body was found in an advanced state of decomposition at Kagoto Quarry.
• She was last seen leaving her workplace, Leopard View Hotel, after receiving a phone call.
• A postmortem revealed she died from strangulation and suffered a broken rib.
