The United Kingdom and Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to bolster the fight against organised immigration crime in East Africa.

583 Kenyan victims were identified among 4,928 repatriated individuals between 2023/24 and 2025/26.
Key figures include DCI Director Mohamed Amin and British High Commissioner Matt Baugh.
The UK donated a fleet of operational vehicles to the DCI to aid investigations into human trafficking, migrant smuggling, and document fraud.
