• Formal milk deliveries to processors fell by 3.7% from 84.4 million litres in June to 81.3 million litres in July.
• The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development, working with the Kenya Dairy Board (KDB) and Kenya Dairy Processors Association (KDPA), is coordinating the response.
• Initiatives include distributing available animal feed, possible duty-free importation of yellow maize, and considering temporary milk imports from neighboring countries.
