Rigathi Gachagua, leader of the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP), has begun a 45-day political tour of the United States aimed at mobilizing support and securing financial partnerships.

• The tour officially commenced on Monday, following a 10-day private period with his wife.
• Key engagements include meetings with the Kenyan diaspora, public and private sessions, and discussions on the state of affairs in Kenya.
• The DCP aims to raise over Sh5 billion to be competitive in the 2027 General Election.
