Two women were apprehended at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) for allegedly attempting to smuggle gold to Dubai.

• Over 658 grammes of gold were recovered, with one bar weighing 541 grams concealed in a suspect's hair.
• The suspects were intercepted on Friday, September 4, by a multi-agency team.
