Xiaomi has launched its first wide foldable phone, the Xiaomi 18 Fold, directly competing with the Huawei Pura X Max, with both devices sharing the same CNY 10,999 (approximately KES 212,000) starting price.

• The Xiaomi 18 Fold features a faster Xiaomi XRing O3 chip built on TSMC's 3nm process, while the Huawei Pura X Max uses the 6nm Kirin 9030 Pro.
