Ahead of the 2027 General Election, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) is collaborating with multiple agencies to proactively identify and manage election-related risks.

• The initiative involves training over 200,000 police officers and IEBC staff on election laws and order management.
• Key partners include the National Police Service, ODPP, the Judiciary, the NCIC, and the IPOA.
• The IEBC also warned of strict enforcement of the Electoral Code of Conduct, with potential sanctions including candidate disqualification or cancellation of results for violations like "goonism."
