Africa's commercial aircraft fleet is projected to more than double by 2045, driven by a projected annual passenger traffic growth of nearly 6%, according to a new report.

• The continent's fleet is expected to grow from 755 to 1,625 aircraft.
• This forecast comes from Boeing's 2026 Commercial Market Outlook (CMO) for Africa.
• The expansion will also necessitate 75,000 new aviation professionals and a $140 billion market for aviation services.
