Passengers are warned against attaching their luggage to others, with such baggage to be returned at the owner's expense.
Key figures involved include Interior Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo and Immigration Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang, overseeing the Border Control and Operations Coordination Committee (BCOCC).
The changes are part of a larger Sh154.2 billion modernization program to increase JKIA's passenger handling capacity from 8 million to 12 million annually.
