Residents of Nairobi and Kisumu are advised to prepare for water supply disruptions starting Friday, September 11, due to essential repair and infrastructure improvement works.

• The Nairobi City Water and Sewerage Company (NCWSC) will shut down the Sasumua Water Treatment Plant for approximately 26 hours from 6am on Friday.
• Kisumu Water and Sanitation Company (KIWASCO) will also interrupt supply in parts of Kisumu on Friday for shorter duration.
• Affected areas in Nairobi include Westlands, Lavington, Kileleshwa, University of Nairobi, Kilimani, Upper Hill, Dagoretti, Kawangware, and Waithaka.
• Residents are urged to store water in advance to mitigate the impact of these necessary disruptions.
