A Kenyan citizen, wanted in the U.S. for a fatal drunk-driving conviction, has been arrested in Nairobi after nearly 13 years on the run.

• The fugitive was convicted of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter While Intoxicated in California.
• The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is leading the extradition proceedings.
• He was arrested on September 9 in Runda and remains in custody after being denied bond due to his history of failing to appear in court.
