Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro has publicly cautioned President William Ruto against interfering with Tata Chemicals, Africa’s largest soda ash plant in Lake Magadi, Kajiado County.

• Nyoro accused President Ruto of allegedly plotting to gain control of Tata Chemicals through a shareholding scheme.
• The Peoples’ Party of Kenya (PPK) leader expressed concerns about the impact of such actions on the environment for investors in Kenya.
• Nyoro also highlighted Kenya's significant debt of Sh13.5 trillion and called for opposition unity ahead of the 2027 General Election.
